As a Graduate Trainee – Engineering Function, you will:
- Engage in a two-year graduate development scheme designed to accelerate your career in engineering.
- Develop skills in various engineering roles, contributing to real projects that impact safety, security, and technological advancement.
- Gain knowledge of precision components and systems, covering aspects such as concept generation, design, manufacture, processing, assembly, safety, reliability, maintenance, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience a range of placements that allow you to focus on a specific technical area or explore diverse projects.
- Receive a core programme of leadership, business, and ‘soft skills’ training.
- Work towards professional registration as a Chartered Engineer with support from experienced professionals.
Your work will be critical to the success of significant engineering and scientific projects, ensuring the continuous advancement of technology and infrastructure

- Educational Background: You are a recent graduate or will graduate by September 2025 with at least a 2:2 degree in engineering disciplines such as Aerospace/Aeronautical, Chemical/Processing, Civil, Design, Electrical/Electronics, General, Integrated, Manufacturing, Structural, or Systems Engineering.
