We are seeking a General Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing essential support to our office team, requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Screen and direct telephone calls, handle queries, and take messages where appropriate.
- Maintain diaries, schedule appointments, and meetings.
- Manage inboxes by reviewing and attending to emails.
- Organise correspondence for live projects, including preparing letters and reports, as well as liaising with onsite staff, suppliers, and clients.
- Maintain office procedures and administrative systems, such as filing and completing incoming & outgoing Health & Safety paperwork.
- Provide back office support by maintaining appropriate levels of office supplies, stationery, and uniforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong research, digestion, analysis, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
