Job Description

Are you a vigilant, responsible, and communicative individual looking for a career in security? Join our team as a Security Officer in Camberley and help us ensure a safe and secure environment for our premises, assets, and people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both indoors and outdoors, to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to alarms and incidents, managing situations with calm and authority.
• Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Communicate effectively using a radio with other officers and confidently handle phone calls with management, contractors, clients, and the public.
• Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CCTV license.
• Must be local to Camberley or within a commutable distance.
• Strong communication skills, with confidence in using radios and handling phone communications.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Available for 12-hour shifts: 7 am-7 pm and 7 pm-7 am.
• Ability to complete a 5-day training course successfully.
• Commitment to professionalism and maintaining a secure environment.

Shift Pattern:

• 5 Day shifts, 3 off, 4 Night shifts, 4 off.
