Contracts Manager/Paralegal - Construction - In House

THE ROLE

We have a new opportunity for an experienced contracts manger to join a growing and successful business

to help manage the negotiation of architect's appointments and sub-consultant agreements

The role will involve working closely with the business, insurers and external advisers handling the following:

Liaising with PI insurers

Reviewing Architects appointments, preparing risk assessments, identifying key issues within the T&Cs of the appointment, such as payment terms, copyright etc

Assisting the Project Delivery Lead in the process of negotiation appointment/insurance/risk

Facilitating the internal start-up and interim project reviews.

THE CANDIDATE

You will ideally have a construction related qualification and /or a background in contract law ideally with a knowledge of architect's or engineer's appointments.

You will have a sound understanding of construction-related professional services contracts, excellent organisational and communication skills

Candidates with a construction/law degree would be of particular interest
