Reach Truck Driver Nightshift – Newmarket

Turners (Soham) Ltd are recruiting a Reach Truck Driver to join our fast-paced Coldstore Department based at our Newmarket depot.

With the full support of our friendly Coldstore Office, you can expect to gain a good understanding of the warehouse supply chain procedures and improve your skills within the department and company.

Hours: Shift pattern Sunday-Thursday 5DPW Night shift

Regular overtime available.

Reach Truck Driver duties include:

• Operating a Heated Reach Truck within frozen storage areas with temperatures reaching -18° C
• Stacking and unstacking pallets on mobile racking with maximum working heights of 14m / 45’
• Using a warehouse management system to log stocks’ location and confirming orders for dispatch
• Working as part of a team to ensure the flow of customers’ products in and out of the supply chain
• Other duties may include some picking of stock that requires assembling pallets of multiple products
• Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation
• Adhering to the Health & Safety Legislation, ensuring highest level of tidiness and cleanliness.

• Experience with MHE would be beneficial, however full training will be provided for this role to the right candidate.
• Able to work as part of a team as well as use own initiative.
• Experience in a Reach Truck Driver position or similar.
