Product & Graphic Design Technology Technician
What skills and experience we're looking for
Well organised, able to approach work methodically, prioritise and meet deadlines especially when ordering and managing stock of materials.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Competent at reading and following verbal and written instructions
Good manipulative/manual handling skills; including use of band saws, table saw, Cross cut saw, pillar drills and sanders
Experience of using laser cutters, 3D printers, and vinyl cutting machines

Further details about the role
We have an exciting opening for a technician to provide technical support to assist in the safe delivery of lessons and practical activities across the Creative Arts Department. In addition, the post-holder will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of machinery within the faculty.Some Design experience, either academic or industrial is essential. We are offering the post at 21 hours per week – however, these times can be flexible for the right candidate.
