The Project Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Combined Place Team, supporting the delivery of key priorities across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW). This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires exceptional organisational skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities.
Working closely with health, local authorities and community partners, you will act as a central point of coordination, ensuring the alignment of strategies, the smooth running of projects, and the development of effective processes. The role also focuses on fostering collaboration across localities, addressing challenges, and enabling the team to deliver high-impact initiatives that reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for local communities,

BSW ICB have adopted agile working so this means the successful applicant will predominately be working from home but may be requested to work in any one of the ICB’s office bases across BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire. You will also have a contractual base within the BSW ICB office where your team is based.

The Project Coordinator is a vital member of the Combined Place Team, supporting the seamless planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire. The role ensures operational efficiency, proactive collaboration, and alignment of priorities across diverse localities.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, NHS partners, and community organisations, fostering alignment and shared goals.

Knowledge, Training and Experience
Essential criteria- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
- Further training or significant experience in project management, financial management or supporting change management processes.
- Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services.
- Experience in communications and stakeholder management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management and/or health information systems development.
- Workforce development knowledge and experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint and other NHS systems and processes.
- Previous experience in similar role in public sector.
- A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it.
Communication skills
