[ref. e88485616] Cardiff - Fostering Qualified Social Worker (Part Time)

Neway is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join the Fostering team based with Cardiff Council.

This role is starting asap, working 3 days a week in an ongoing contract.

We are looking for a qualified social worker with experience of supporting foster carers and cared for children and young people to join us in our stable and experienced mainstream fostering team.

You will be responsible for supervising foster carers, as well as participating our duty service in which you will assist in identifying matches for young people who need to be cared for. The role also involves participating in recruitment activities and foster carer events.

You will be required to have a good working knowledge of legislation related to cared for children and the regulatory requirements related to local authority fostering services.

You be required to be office based at least 1 day a week and whilst on duty and will need to be able to be able to travel on a daily basis to visits and events in and around the City of Cardiff
