KEA Gateshead are looking to welcome a Sales & Sustainability Assistant, in IKEA we call this a Product Recovery & Operations Specialist

• Starting salary of £27,000 per annum, based on competence and experience.
• 39 Hours working 5 days per week includes alternate weekends

• Ability to prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with high attention to detail.

• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance through product repackaging, spare part management, product assembly and sales. (online & offline).
• Optimise the product recovery processes, tools, and ways of working in the department to improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products . Follow up on performance and use proven solutions and good examples to identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Responsible for implementing & training unit co-workers in processes, tools and ways of working related to recovery operations.
• Work collaboratively across all functions in the unit to create Product Quality & Safety and Recovery awareness, and to ensure that common working routines and processes related are followed.
• Support the Product Quality & Recovery Manager by indirectly leading the team together with the other specialists, by assigning tasks and supervising the daily operations of the Product Quality & Recovery team when required.
