Coventry - Year 5 Teacher

We are working closely with a primary school in the North Solihull Borough to find passionate, dedicated, and experienced KS2 teacher who is eager to get stuck in and be welcomed into the schools community. This role is due to start immediately and will run until the end of the academic year initially, with the potential of a permanent role to be established.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons for KS2 pupils (Year 5 specifically).
- Monitoring and reporting on students' attainment, progress, and development
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive learning environment
- Preparing students for SATs and other assessments
- Actively contributing to the wider school community and fostering strong student-teacher relationships
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Be confident in planning, marking, and delivering interactive, fun lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Have a genuine passion for education and child development
- Demonstrate a professional and committed attitude both inside and outside the classroom
- Possess a thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Have relevant experience teaching in UK primary schools
