CareGiver / Care Assistant - Evenings

We're seeking a fabulous, friendly, reliable Care Assistant (with car) to work around 15 - 20 hours a week, year-round, as follows:

Monday - Friday 4:15 - 9pm (3+ evenings), plus alternate Saturdays or Sundays (4:15 - 9pm)

Our clients for this role are based in the Twyford, Wokingham, Woodley, and Earley areas.

Based on your availability for work, more visits may be available too.

What we offer our Care Assistants:

  • Premium hourly rates starting from £14.05 per hour days and £16.20 per hour evenings &weekends.
  • Bank Holiday rates start at £21.08 to 28.10 / hour

Right at Home Reading and Wokingham District supports clients all over the local area, including: Wokingham, Finchampstead, Woodley, Sonning, Winnersh, Shinfield, Earley & Lower Earley, and Twyford areas of Berkshire.

Duties will include:

  • Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
  • Personal care
  • Administering medication
  • Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
  • Shopping
  • Housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Taking Clients for appointments or outings
  • Making a positive difference to their quality of life and well-being every visit.

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

  • Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle
  • Have a genuine passion to want to help others
  • Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
  • Be available for early mornings or evenings and alternate weekends (preferred)
If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer or Heath Care Assistant we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail, hospitality, hairdressers/ beauticians, covid testers, cleaners.
