Job Description- Reviewing and analysing accounts receivable ledgers
- Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
- Managing the collection process, ensuring prompt payments
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Responsible for credit control for your portfolio of customers
- Preparing monthly financial statements and reports
- Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Maintaining a strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Complying with all financial regulations and standards
- Contribute to the month-end reporting and creating efficiencies
- Lead improvements to develop credit control processes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior AR Analyst should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a fast-paced, busy accounting environment and be comfortable working under pressure during the invoicing period at the beginning of each month
- Accounts receivable experience and general accounting knowledge
- VAT knowledge an advantage
- Technology savvy, the role requires you to understand and apply the data held on the firms multiple systems
- Excellent analytical skills
- High level of attention to detail to deliver the high degree of accuracy required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be numerate and have good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident communications skills to handle queries from clients and internal departments
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Education in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- An estimated salary range of £35,000- £38,000 GBP
- Hybrid working
