An exciting opportunity has arisen within the COMHAD Team (LYPFT) in Forward Leeds for a Clinical Team manager . The post holder will support the COMHAD team based at Armley Park Court.Forward Leeds is a partnership organisation, with an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating, which is made up of four partners, with LYPFT providing the specialist input and interventions, including DBT, CBT, MI, SBNT and CBCS. The team is made up of Addiction Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, CBT therapists, Mental health and General nurses, OT’s, Social workers, Midwives and support workers who work from various sites across Leeds.
They will work closely with all areas of the Forward Leeds partnership, ensuring that service users are provided with evidence-based treatment, specialist psychosocial and pharmacological interventions.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage a team of Mental health practitioners, from different specialities, to support people experiencing addiction and co-occurring mental health problems. There will be no direct case management, but the post holder will support the team in delivery appropriate interventions, offer support and advice in the wider MDT, in making decisions relating to treatment plans.
To offer clinical supervision to junior staff and line management supervision to the COMHAD Hub team. The posts holder will also be provided with excellent supervision and support in terms of career development and learning.The post holder will deliver specialist psychosocial interventions to people experiencing addiction problems and co-occurring mental health and other complex needs.
To be involved in service development and staff training.
They will represent the service at various meetings and forums within LYPFT, Forward Leeds, as well as at external events.

Essential criteria- RMN or equivalent professional qualification. Post graduate qualification in Addiction studies or equivalent.
- Non-medical prescribing qualification.
Qualifications / Experience
Essential criteria- Qualification or relevant experience in delivering psychosocial or psychological interventions. Experience in delivering manualised therapies.
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience of working with clients with substance and cooccurring mental health problems and is able to demonstrate an understanding of the complexities of working with people with substance misuse and co existing mental health problems
- Be able to demonstrate effective working partnerships within a multi-disciplinary team, to achieve an integrated, effective and efficient service.
