Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Data Analytics Assistant Facilitator to join our team for a fixed-term contract, starting on 24 February 2025 and concluding on 28 July 2025. This role is critical to supporting learners through their journey on our cutting-edge Data Analytics courses, designed in collaboration with the London School of Economics, employers, and leading tech companies.

Your Mission

The Assistant Facilitator will work collaboratively with the Delivery Manager and the Lead Facilitator to ensure an exceptional student experience. This includes:

  • Supporting learners to navigate course content and achieve mastery of key concepts.
  • Enhancing the curriculum by bringing content to life with real-world industry insights and applications.
  • Engaging learners through vibrant social learning discussions on our course platform.
  • Providing tailored support to high-risk learners with one-to-one collaborative sessions.
  • Marking assignments and delivering detailed, constructive feedback to facilitate learner growth.
Key Deliverables
  • Facilitation of community forums for 3 hours per week across three courses (total 54 hours).
  • Completing marking and providing feedback for 40 assignments per course:
  • Course 1: 30 hours
  • Course 2: 30 hours
  • Course 3: 30 hours
  • Additional assignments paid at £30 per submission.
  • Providing one-to-one support sessions to learners as needed (total 30 hours).
  • Conducting orientation onboarding sync sessions and participating in team meetings (total 4 hours).
  • Reviewing course content (total 18 hours).
  • Raising any concerns regarding learner progress or feedback with Lead Success Managers.

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Extensive experience in full lifecycle Data Analytics.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and software, including Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, and RStudio.
  • Demonstrable passion for the future of Data Analytics and a drive to mentor the next generation of professionals.
  • Prior experience as a facilitator, online mentor, or educator within the subject matter (desirable).
  • Industry certifications and/or affiliations with LSE (desirable).
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Engaging communication skills and an ability to build strong rapport with learners.
  • Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence to support a diverse learner base.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to problem-solving and delivery.
