Job Description- Support the Accounting & Finance department in day-to-day operations.
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, ensuring all costs are accurately allocated.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with audits.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve finance-related queries.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations concerning finance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with other departments.
- An estimated salary range of £25,200 - £30,800 per annum.
