About Us: Randstad is working closely with the Long Term Team in Newcastle to recruit a dedicated and experienced Social Worker.

Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with a commitment to providing long-term support to children and families?In this role, you will manage a caseload of children and families, developing and implementing care plans that address their ongoing needs and help them achieve stability and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of children, young people, and families requiring long-term support.
- Conducting thorough assessments to understand the needs and strengths of service users.
- Providing ongoing support, intervention, and monitoring to ensure that care plans are effective and updated as needed.
- Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with service users, families, and carers.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and family support.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, particularly in long-term or ongoing case management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective, long-lasting relationships.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and child protection.
