The Avon Valley School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of History to inspire and advance the aspirations of students. The Role

As a Teacher of History, you will be responsible for delivering high quality and engaging lessons across the key stages, fostering a love of the past and developing students’ critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dedicated to providing outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated history lessons.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.
  • Be part of a team of dedicated teachers, with a culture of collaboration and high expectations.
  • Be instrumental in delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum that promotes intellectual curiosity and academic excellence.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
