We are currently looking for the perfect candidate to fill a vacancy for the role of team leader in charge of the building cleaning team.

The role involves the supervision of all cleaning staff who are responsible for commercial-standard cleaning of office buildings, vacant homes, and communal areas in council flats. The successful candidate will be focusing on:

their performance
standards of cleanliness
ensuring that a first-class cleaning service is delivered
reviewing work schedules
ordering cleaning materials

monitoring all cleaning activities

This is a working team leader role that involves carrying out cleaning activities. Our ideal candidate will have experience of team leading/staff management

A background in commercial cleaning or comparable sectors would be very beneficial.

You will be required to work some weekend and bank holidays on a rota basis, so flexibility is an essential requirement of this role.

You will need to be a proactive and positive person who can contribute to the commercial activities undertaken and have a positive influence on the reputation of the service.

This role involves driving council vehicles therefore a full driving licence is essential. Please confirm this when applying.
