Support Worker for Young People
Flexible working hours - Perfect for current agency staff!
At Paragon Social Care we support vulnerable and challenging children and young people who are looked after by the council, who find themselves between longer term placements. We step in during these critical times of transition and supply wrap around 24/7 packages of support until a more suitable longer term placement is found.Our support packages start at a staffing ratio of 1:1 up to a maximum of 6:1 depending on the individual needs of each young person.
An average day as a Support Worker:
- Planning and participating in fun activities and outings
- Establishing an emotional engagement with the young person
- Ensuring the safety of the young person, this is pivotal at all times
- Preparing meals for the young person
- And transporting the young person to meetings, school, appointments, etc.

Requirements:
- You are highly flexible in your working life
- You are a car driver and will obtain Motor Vehicle Business Insurance
