Year 6 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Birmingham

This school is looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant who has previous SEN experience. This long-term role is based in a school with an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience in a school which always leads by example and is dedicated to the development of their students.

Your new role
This is a full -time role, Monday – Friday. Your typical day will be from 8:30am to 3:30pm. You will be working 1-1 with year 6 student diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, so your ability to adapt and connect with students needs to be strong. You will be supporting this child with English, Maths, classroom activities and general day to day activities.This role is looking for someone who can start immediately until the end of the academic year, July 2025
What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification along with recent experience working with students with SEN on a 1-1 basis. This school is also looking for someone who is interactive, confident and happy using symbols.
