We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Psychology for a Research Associate to join a project led by Professor Megan Freeth.
The role involves conducting the day-to-day research and project management activities associated with a NIHR PDG project entitled: Participatory Systems Mapping with Underserved Autistic Adults: Co-Designing Health and Social Care Solutions Through Creative Arts.

The aim of the project is to develop partnerships to establish and evaluate methods for effectively including underserved Autistic adults in the mobilisation of health and social care knowledge.

This project will involve using community led approaches for navigating the barriers for inclusion. This will be done in line with NIHR-Include guidance. The goal is to co-create recommendations and methods to support inclusive, ethical and respectful autism research.
The project will involve co-designing and co-delivering a series of four community partnership workshops using creative arts and other methods to facilitate participatory systems mapping for health and social care. This role will involve working in person with community groups based in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will work closely with Disability Sheffield, who are co-principal investigators on this award.
