Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Services Co-ordinator within the Division of Medicine, based at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.

The Clerical Services Coordinator will be responsible for the provision of operational and day to day management of clerical and administration services Medicine, working closely with the Site Specialty Managers.

Medicine is a fast paced and diverse Division, consisting of: Gastroenterology, (including the Endoscopy Unit, Renal (Including the Renal Dialysis Ward), Respiratory, Cardiology (Including the Cath Lab and ECG), COTE, Rheumatology, Diabetes and Neurology and the Medical Wards.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide day to day operational management of the administration and clerical staff within the Division.

The Clerical Services co-ordinator will support the Medicine Management Team in ensuring sound administrative processes are in place to support the Directorate clinical teams in achieving operational objectives in an efficient and effective way.

Excellent written and communication skills together with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines are essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

  • Good standard of general / higher education (Certificate Level)
