Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Newbury

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning, working closely with teachers to plan and deliver lessons, and providing targeted support to pupils who need it most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small group sessions and interventions, adapting materials to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Support class teachers in assessing pupil progress and providing feedback.
- Supervise and support pupils during lessons, break times, and extracurricular activities.
- Assist in the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
- Provide cover for class teachers during short-term absences or PPA time.
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or experience covering primary classes in the UK.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational frameworks.
- A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work.
