Hourly rate of pay: £12.96 - £13.78
Days and Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday, 08:00-13:30 (30 minute break)
Friday, 08:30-12:30To start asap.
Preston Lodge High School is a non-denominational secondary school serving the communities of Cockenzie, Port Seton, Longniddry and Prestonpans. Our roll is currently 1060, and the school is very easily commutable from Edinburgh. The strengths of our school are:

The post is part of the Technician team who are a key part of our school culture, working in partnership with teaching staff and students.
The postholder assists the Senior Science Technician in preparing practical experiments and paperwork for the science classes. This also involves cleaning and maintenance of equipment within the science department. The Jobholder is responsible for ensuring that equipment is available for use by teachers and students.

Job Details
To assist the Science Technician in preparing practical experiments and paperwork for the science classes. The job also involves cleaning and maintenance of equipment within the science department. Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Educated to SVQ2, National Certificate, Higher or equivalent in a relevant discipline and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
