Senior Manager (NO.2)
A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Senior Manager for a 18 month period, someone to run the project and report to an on-site Senior Project Manager and be his NO.2 on site.
About the role of Senior Site Manager:
The role will be managing the delivery out on site which means the day to day running of the supply chain which includes sub-contractors (roofing + cladding), internal site manager and report back into the Project Manager.
The Facade and Roofing are the important packages which will need the most time, the facade in schuco facade system so previous experience in this is needed.
Responsibilities for the Senior Manager:
- Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming, construction methodology.
- Knowledge of internal design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects
- Understanding of internal materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing
- Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly
- Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives
- Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. Making sure all health & safety protocols are in place.
- Manage risks, with any issues that arise are solved promptly and efficiently.
