Team Administrator

Overview
A well-established, award-winning interdisciplinary consultancy is seeking a highly organised Team Administrator to support its Architectural and Building Surveying teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, working both independently and collaboratively within a friendly and supportive environment that values quality, accuracy, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Produce, format, and proofread documents including reports, letters, specifications, schedules, and tender documents
- Standardise documents to align with templates and industry standards
- Prepare high-quality document packs for clients, planning submissions, tenders, and site reports
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including email management and recorded deliveries
- Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist with printing, scanning, binding, archiving, and general administrative duties
- Provide diary management, meeting coordination, and room booking support
- Offer professional reception cover when required
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely distribution of documentation
- Support the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and project support
Skills & Experience
Essential- Strong document formatting and typing skills (Word, Excel, PDF editing)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable
- Able to remain calm under pressure and manage shifting priorities
- Professional, discreet, and reliable
- Positive, team-focused approach
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Experience working in a professional services or construction environment
- Knowledge of document control or project administration
