The Role:
We have an opportunity for an inquisitive and academically oriented GMC registered doctor to gain first-hand experience on clinical trials within a world-renowned clinical research organisation working with a varied group of international biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients.
Our doctors work across a range of clinical trials involving both healthy and patient volunteers. The team of doctors contribute to original research, developing a skill set that includes protocol development and data analysis and reporting. Through this multi-faceted role and the training provided, you will gain experience in managing clinical trials from the point of screening volunteers, through to analysis, interpretation and reporting of the data collected.

This is a clinical position like any clinical NHS post you may apply for, but through your work in a supportive, stable team you will have the opportunity to contribute to publications, to quality and process improvements and become involved in teaching.
We appreciate the importance of a cohesive and skilled team and the variety of skills each person may bring to this team. As such we take a flexible approach to training and development of all physicians working at Richmond Pharmacology, accounting for each doctor's skill set and longer-term plans.Specific clinical training for this role in conjunction with management and leadership training is provided from the outset of your employment and this is ongoing throughout your time at Richmond Pharmacology.
