Supply Chain Go To Market Cluster Lead – UK&I

Overview:

This role leads the Supply Chain Go To Market cluster and is responsible for the executing the local functional strategy to the commercial organisation and customers. As the single connection point back into the broader Supply Chain organisation for all activities, this role is accountable for the efficient management of the Sales & Operations Planning, Customer Service and Order Management of all markets in the cluster.
Responsible for implementing and executing the supply chain strategy within the cluster and will act as single point of contact for all Supply Chain related topics while driving execution of the main Supply Chain deliverables (Cost, Service, Cash) across the cluster and connecting back into the broader Supply Chain organisation.

Will focusing on building robust short-and long term plans for demand, inventory control and customer service whilst acting as the custodian for S&OP across the cluster

STAKEHOLDER PARTNERSHIP

Develops trusted and objective relationships with the German leadership team, which provides opportunity to co-create, challenge, and maximise business delivery and value creation to meet and exceed Nomad Foods objectives. An active member of the country leadership team who builds solid and efficient relations with local customers, operating as their primary contact for all Supply Chain activities.

The single point of contact for all Supply Chain topics and communications to the Local Markets and Customers.

EXCELLENT EXECUTION

Owns the Local S&OP process across all markets, aligning with the Cluster GMs and Country managers to ensure robust management of demand and delivery of products across the Nomad Foods network. Delivering strategies to achieve the highest standards of customer service and cost and inventory levels across the commercial networks.
Owns the end-to-end execution of the supply chain in-market strategy, ensuring the efficient and effective management Order Management, Customer Service, Demand Planning and Inventory management to ensure delivery to our customers is on time and in full.

Lead the local delivery of initiatives and cost saving projects e.g F4G, LMOR, CMOR, MoB.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Champions the voice of the customer for the Supply Chain, sharing insight and inspiration to inform Executive strategic thinking. Primarily responsible inside Supply Chain to translate Product Innovation needs into successful projects implemented locally, actively participating and gatekeeping in LMOR and CMOR.

STRATEGY PLANNING

Translates the Supply Chain strategy into actions, guarantee alignment of all the key metrics. Provide inputs that feeds into the 1–3-year Supply Chain and Commercial strategy, shaping key strategic opportunities with local leaders to deliver cost, cash and service metrics.

Develops planning and customer service knowledge and insight, to inform Executive strategic thinking and in-year operational delivery. Supports the execution of the Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics strategy locally, engaging and enabling stakeholders, managing the daily operations thorough an excellent execution.

CAPABILITY & TALENT

Ensures deep, diverse, and agile talent pipelines are in place for the future. Coaches and develops direct and indirect teams, managing performance, development, and talent conversations appropriately as a direct manager or matrix manager. Actively works to identify and build critical capabilities in the Supply Chain Go to Market organisation via clarity of roles and accountabilities and selecting and/or developing the talent required within the teams to deliver in year performance.

LEADERSHIP

Directly leads the Cluster Supply Chain Go-to-Market teams, with active presence across the Nomad Foods business, in all markets. Works closely with functions and COEs outside of Supply Chain go to Market to collaborate and partner on priorities that contribute to the wider Nomad Foods agenda, as well as Supply Chain priorities.

Builds trust and creates the conditions to enable direct and matrix teams to deliver strong performance and work together effectively. Builds diverse, effective teams reflective of the markets we operate in.

Indicators of Success -
  • Successful strategy implementation and delivery of Cost, Cash and Service metrics at market level.
  • Accuracy of Forecast and Inventory
  • Implementation of the Supply Chain Savings agenda at the market level (including F4G)
  • Implementation of new capability and process standardisation across the markets regarding demand planning, customer service and order management.
  • Drive Supply Chain Joint Business plan development with key customers for reducing costs and complexity
  • Best in class Customer Service team being solid and reliable business partner for internal sales team and all our customers improving the ranking in the Advantage Survey
  • Lead, develop and inspire a team to deliver high performance, embracing core Nomad values

Qualifications:

We need someone who is an experienced Supply Chain Leader, able to motivate and inspire people to drive excellent execution to deliver business performance. A strong leader with a mindset of ‘Excellent Execution’, accuracy and attention to detail.

Leads by example and with humility. Able to manage ambiguity and build clarity around complex situations. Aligns others around the Nomad Foods purpose and values to build and embed our One Nomad culture. Passionate about food, people, and our products.

  • Proven track record of delivering service, cash and cost efficiencies across complex multi country networks
  • Demonstrable supply chain leadership experience, at a cross multi-market and multi factory European / Global network, specifically with planning, S&OP and customer service
