Customer Service Manager / Full time / Permanent / £43,000 - £47,000

My client, a leading financial services organisation, are looking for a Customer Service Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis. As a Customer Service Manager in this role you will be responsible for managing a large team who provide administration support for customers.

You should be confident in communicating and have previous experience in managing a team.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain service levels in the department
  • Manage, train and develop your team and team leaders
  • Confidently identify training and development needs for individuals in the department
  • Ensure quality levels are met
  • Review and improve processes where necessary and update the team accordingly
  • Manage complaints
  • Ensure calls are monitored and reviewed regularly
  • Work to regulatory standards and ensure compliance levels are maintained
  • Monthly reporting on the department and its performance
  • Set targets in the department and ensure they are met

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Financial services experience would be preferred
  • Experienced in managing a team and conducting appraisals/ employee development
  • Strong communicator with great interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in working in a regulated environment would be advantageous

Package:

  • £43,000 - £47,000 base salary
