About the role and school
Are you a High Level Teaching Assistant looking to join a vibrant school in the Wirral who is passionate and experienced in supporting students and covering planned or immediate absences?
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit High Level Teaching Assistants within Liverpool and Wirral who are looking for full time work come September. The ideal candidate would be required plan, prepare and deliver learning activities with individual pupils, groups and sometimes whole classes and also assess and report on pupils progress.
Key responsibilities- Demonstrate that you meet the 33 HLTA professional standards
- Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning plans and strategies in order tobenefit the students.
- Provide general cover to lessons when needed, therefore have basic literacy and maths skills.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment whilst supporting students with their academic, social and emotional development.
- Assist with personal care, mobility needs and also help those with SEN needs.
- Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements- Enhanced DBS cleared & uploaded to the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Full right to work within the UK.
- Experience as a HLTA and have relevant qualifications for this role.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs and those who need extra support.
- Patience, empathy and a proactive approach to supporting those with SEN.
