About Our Client
Our client is a significant player in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector with a workforce of over 1000 employees.
Job Description- Maintain accounting and controlling systems of the company.
- Support internal and external audit.
- Provide support to Management Accountants.
- Maintain and update the purchase ledger.
- Review and reconcile the creditors and debtors accounts.
- Co-ordinate with Finance Assistant (Bank) regarding timing of payments and preparation of payment runs.
- Maintain and update the sales ledger.
- Conduct credit control procedures.
- Processing employee expenses.
- Support commercial procurement processes.
- Ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Finance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- Proven experience in an Accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- An estimated salary range of £14.40 - £17.60 per hour
