Geography Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Geography examinations, ensuring high levels of achievement.
• Inspire curiosity and a deep understanding of geographical concepts, global issues, and physical environments.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high-quality curriculum and innovative teaching practices.
• Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community in Lewisham.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Geography or a related field.
• Experience as a geography teacher at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to fostering student success and passion for Geography.
