Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a world-class EMEA Security Partner Development Specialist (PDS) to grow the Security business through our strategic partnerships, particularly through System Integrators (SIs), Global System Integrator (GSI) and security specialist partners in EMEA.

Security is job zero for AWS, the top priority for customers who have not yet migrated to the cloud, as well as those with scalable cloud operations. AWS is a security leader and is on a journey to enhance the partner experience and foster a closer alignment with partners with this motion, raising the bar for security for customers everywhere.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Within SMGS, this role is pivotal in empowering partners to drive momentum when engaging with our shared customers.
Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with internal AWS teams, co-develop, and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies that empower AWS and Security partners to build solutions, offerings, and programs tailored to their customers’ needs.

Key job responsibilities
  • Drive top-line revenue growth and adoption of Security partner solutions on and with AWS
  • Define the EMEA Security partner strategy, capacity and capability for Consulting partners required to meet the current and future needs of EMEA customers within the overall security strategy.
  • Support Partner Development Managers and partners across practice development, solution creation, and innovation to deliver on capacity and capability goals
  • Help partners build the right security services to help customers build on AWS and stay secure, working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Define and support execution of the go-to-market strategy to grow the Security business through consulting and technology partners
  • You will also serve as a subject matter expert on the Security offerings of our partners, supporting partner management and sales teams through campaigns, initiatives and sales programs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, solutions architecture, product management, and other teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
The ideal candidate will have experience driving successful Security partnership initiatives at scale, as well as a strong background in Security sales or business development with a proven track record of executing go-to-market motions. You should possess strong strategic thinking abilities, data-driven decision-making skills, and working knowledge of AWS security services.

You should have over 5 years’ experience working in a security consulting partner, SI, GSI, Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) or within an organisation as a security practitioner and be proficient with Security and Cloud Security concepts, use cases and terminology

  • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Solid experience with Security technologies, minimum 10 years of experience, ideally with a sales/GTM background in Security Consulting, Managed Security Services (MSS), Managed Detection & Response (MxDR) or other security use cases.
  • Demonstratable knowledge and experience of EMEA market drivers, regulations and frameworks.- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience in building and executing partner growth strategies at scale
  • Experience in working with AWS Security services and/or partners
  • Experience in building security services (commercial or technical) with a security consulting, managed service or ISV, or as a practitioner.
