Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join our 80-strong Client Development team. The Client Development team are the facilitators in the creation and application of great solutions for our clients and their customers.

They are the architects of the best possible outcomes, inspiring clients, teams and the BHN business to excel and drive revenue and growth.

As a Senior Account Manager in the team, you will manage a portfolio of high-profile B2C and B2B clients for whom we deliver customer, channel and brand engagement programmes – you’ll play a pivotal role in driving client relationships and programme success.

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for building strong client relationships, delivering reward and incentive solutions to help meet our client’s business needs, coordinating with internal teams to deliver these solutions, and developing strategic business plans to find new opportunities and grow their accounts.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the market-leading reward and incentive products and services BHN provide, to deliver them to an excellent standard and ultimately to use your experience and ideas to make your current programmes more successful.

Responsibilities:

Our ideal Senior Account Manager will be great at:

  • Developing positive and trusted relationships with clients so we retain and grow accounts and drive client satisfaction
  • Ensuring day-to-day delivery of operational programme elements in a timely manner and to a high standard – care about process, performance, insight and improvements
  • Providing effective counsel - using your expertise, experience, and knowledge to advise your clients on the best solutions, the best course of action and accurately manage expectations
  • Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities – listening carefully, thinking outside the box and helping our clients and driving revenue growth
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as technology, legal and finance to ensure all elements of the programmes “work”
  • Financial management of programmes including timely and accurately estimating, forecasting, invoicing, and ensuring profitable delivery of projects
  • Identifying learning opportunities to support your own professional development and to support those around you

Qualifications:

Key skills required to be successful in this role:

  • Confident communicator, with strong client facing presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • An interest in business development – confident to network, get out there, promote BHN and find and progress new opportunities to help grow your clients and their business
  • Commercial and financial acumen with an ability to understand where and how margin is generated to maximise results
  • Strong analytical skills to review programme performance and make recommendations
  • An ability to look beyond the immediate day-to-day to identify potential issues and solutions
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to working autonomously or as part of a team; self-motivation, collaboration and negotiation are essential
  • Personable, credible, and able to build rapport easily
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • 5+ years Account Management experience

Experience of working on customer engagement programmes AND in using sales tools such as Sales Navigator would be beneficial, but equally important to us is your passion and ability to help our clients achieve their goals and a willingness to get stuck in!
