Private Tax Director

About Our Client

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm with a significant presence across South West, offering comprehensive compliance & advisory services. With a split tax function, our client is looking to grow their specialist Private Tax team to partner with local solicitors, HNWI's & agricultural clients.

• Lead the private client tax department and manage a portfolio of high net worth clients.
• Deliver high-level tax advisory services.
• Develop and implement strategies for departmental growth.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated services to clients.
• Foster a positive and high-performing work environment within the department.
• Stay updated with the latest industry developments and changes in tax legislation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Private Tax Director should have:

• A professional qualification in Tax or Accountancy - ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA (QBE will be considered).
• Proven experience in a tax leadership role within a professional services firm.
• Excellent knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
• Outstanding client relationship management skills.
• The ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

• An attractive salary package in the range of £65,000-£85,000.
