Financial Systems Accountant - Power BI Specialist
Location: Slough (Hybrid - 3 days a week in office)Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Are you a skilled Financial Systems Accountant with a passion for data analysis and visualisation using Power BI? We are seeking a talented individual to join our finance team in Slough. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in our modern office, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and enhance financial systems to support the finance team's reporting and analysis needs.
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, providing insights to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their financial data requirements and deliver customised reporting solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial systems and reports.
- Support system implementation projects and process improvements, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
- Provide training and support to the finance team and wider business on using Power BI and other financial systems effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Financial Systems Accountant or similar role, ideally within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI and experience in developing financial dashboards and reports.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Experience with financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or part-qualified with relevant experience.
