Facilities Assistant (Medical Records Driver) | Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant Medical Records Driver to work across the trust footprint within Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust
Based at Birch Hill Hospital Mon to Fri 9.00am -5pm
The postholder will provide a Trust-wide courier service as part of the Trust’s facilities team, which will include the delivery of medical records and patient notes.
The postholder will follow a daily delivery and collection schedule. The postholder will also be trained to deliver porter duties to support within the Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale (HMR) locality as required. Whilst the Facilities Assistant (Records Driver) is primarily responsible for the Trustwide courier service delivery, the postholder will also be offered to train in the cleaning and catering services as part of the wider facilities services delivered at Birch Hill Hospital.Full training would be provided to be a fully cross-trained Facilities Assistant at this site which is optional.
- To deliver medical records / patient notes to designated locations as per a daily route list.
- To liaise with the transport team regularly to discuss daily route, requirements and any issues or priorities.
- To operate the Trust fleet vehicle in line with the Trust Fleet Policy, which includes:
o Operating the vehicle lawfully and in line with department guidelines, policies and the Highway Code. AFC 6/9/23 JME-214-23 Facilities Assistant (Records Driver) Band 2
