Accounts Payable Manager
Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a growing medical organisation based in Abingdon to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. The Accounts Payable Manager will receive a salary of up to £60,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working!
The Accounts Payable team consists of 7-8 people and therefore the best suited candidate for this role will have strong leadership skills.
Primary responsibilities -- Supervise the accounts payable team, including training, development, and performance management
- Manage the end-to-end payable process; ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and payment transactions
- Maintain up-to-date files and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Provide excellent customer service, manage and maintain good relationship with the internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the maintenance of accounts payable systems and software
- Perform monthly reconciliations
- Work closely with the Finance Team Leaders
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for annual audits
- Experience as an AP Manager
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven experience managing change processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills including Excel
