The role

You'll have esponsibility for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the design intent of all systems to ensure they are safe to operate from a design perspective whilst optimising the client's investment. You will conduct Asset Surveying activities across NSI and NNSI equipment/buildings and infrastructure.

Day to day you'll:

• Assist Senior Electrical Engineer and TCA Manager in optimizing section resources.
• Ensure tasks meet cost, time, and quality standards.
• Implement safety, security, quality, and environmental policies, ensuring risk assessments.
• Provide electrical and building services designs for projects £25k.
• Review and approve design proposals and contract documents for compliance with standards.
• Support and direct design engineers on base-wide projects.

This role is full time 36 hours per week Monday to Friday and is based in Faslane.

• Working knowledge of: High Voltage systems, including maintenance and procedures, Electrical Design, Electrical Systems and Equipment, Operational Documentation, Statutory and Regulatory requirements including DSEAR
• Solid understanding of: CAD, COSHH, CDM, Building Control, Safe Systems of Work

• Recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
• Confined Space Competent Person and Occasional Climber/Working at Heights
• Emergency First Aid and Asbestos Awareness
• 18th Edition - City and Guilds
• City & Guilds 2396-01 Level 4 Award in Design & Verifications
• City and Guilds 2395 Periodic Inspection Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
