Carer and support worker

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing compassionate care and assistance to individuals in a care home setting.

• Deliver high-quality care and support to residents in accordance with individual care plans
• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Manage challenging behaviours with professionalism and empathy
• Support residents with dementia through tailored care approaches
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents
• Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
• Implement behaviour management strategies effectively

• Previous experience in care, home care, or a similar role is essential
• Knowledge of case management and familiarity with care plans
• Experience in heavy lifting and manual handling techniques
• Background in dementia care is advantageous
• Ability to drive for work purposes is desirable
