  • As a Support Worker in Outreach, you will also support our clients in exploring new interests, cooking/cleaning and improving on their physical health. This includes supporting clients in social/leisure activities within both the home and the community.
  • You will have a person-centred approach and will promote culture and choices.
  • As well as physically and emotionally supporting our clients, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and will write clear and concise daily notes.
Main duties of the job
  • You will have a caring, confident and well organised personality with the ability to adapt to situations quickly as every day is different.
  • Its desirable (not essential) that you have some experience of working in a care environment.
  • Proven track record of team work and working in a face paced environment.
  • You must be flexible as you would be required to work a variety of shifts, and also cover at other local services in the absence of other staff.
  • You must be confident in speaking to other professionals and services who work with our clients, as you will be in regular communication with them.
  • Incidents may occur, so you must be able to mange these calmly and report any safeguarding concerns to the local authority/any relevant professionals who are supporting the client.
