Duties and responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Assessing complex patients with a range of diagnoses, identifying, developing and implementing appropriate specialist rehabilitation programmes based on clear clinical reasoning, based on highly specialist knowledge and experience of a range of procedures and conditions underpinned by sound theory and evidence-based practice.
Supporting the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the interpretation of assessment results and recommendations based on clinical need as part of the larger rehabilitation process. Acting as a resource to the clinical team on patient intervention and management.
Demonstrating skill at assessing and interpreting a range of complex factors relating to the patients condition which will impact on their ability to carry out their activities of daily living including their ability to return to work.
