your role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS UAT Tester with strong functional expertise in Oracle R12 modules related to Managed Services & Customer Services (MS&C). The role involves supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for modules including Project Costing, Project Billing, Oracle Knowledge Engineering (OKE), and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), working closely with business users and functional teams to ensure successful test execution and defect resolution.
Essential skills- Execute UAT for Oracle R12 modules: Project Costing, Project Billing, OKE, and OTL.
- Understand business processes at the L3 level and convert them into structured, executable test scripts.
- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and test teams to support test planning, execution, and issue resolution.
- Prioritize test scripts based on business needs and ensure timely completion of UAT cycles.
- Use JIRA to track test execution and manage defects in coordination with the UAT Test Manager and Defect Manager.
- Provide timely updates on UAT progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
Your Skills and experience
Mandatory skills- UAT testing experience in Oracle R12.
- Strong functional knowledge in Oracle EBS modules: Project Costing, Project Billing, OKE (Oracle Knowledge Engineering), OTL (Oracle Time and Labor)
- Proficient in developing and executing UAT scripts aligned with business scenarios.
- Experience using JIRA for test and defect management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Experience with Oracle EBS implementations or upgrades.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Background in Professional Services, Project Management, or Customer Service operations.
- Exposure to additional Oracle EBS modules.
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
