Teacher of Physics
Full time or part time, permanent position; starting September 2025.
The Physics department at the RGS has a great track record for welcoming those new to the profession and helping them develop into outstanding teachers.
We are a department of nine friendly, helpful and supportive physicists and technicians who value a sense of humour as well as a passion for the STEM subjects that we teach. This rubs off on the pupils who are "passionate, motivated and enthusiastic" (ISI Report 2022) and achieve "outstanding results."
We are looking for an individual to inspire our pupils and we welcome applications from candidates offering Physics as a dedicated specialism and those with multi-disciplinary experience confident to teach a secondary subject such as Computer Science.No teaching experience is necessary although salary will reflect experience and is well above the national scale.
