My client, an innovative, diverse Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their already-established team of design engineers, near the northern maritime city of Hull.Essential Criteria:A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant disciplineExtensive experience of working with drainage strategies and flood risk projectsDemonstrable experience of writing Flood Risk Reports, producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.)Knowledge of the relevant software packages, including TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, etc.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience of working with a team of diverse individuals, providing leadership and mentorshipDemonstrable experience of developing and managing stakeholder relationsIt would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to have the following:Experience of project or team managementWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant 3D design softwareExcellent communication skillsGood time management skillsIn your new role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, you will be joining a team of highly experienced design engineers, working on a number of varied, high-profile projects across the region.
