About the Role of Administrator/ Estimator:
This role is perfect for a strong administrator, with experience of working in a busy and fast paced office environment. Working as part of the quotations and estimations team, your duties will include:
- Managing and responding to enquiries via telephone and email
- Managing and processing enquiries from customers requiring quotes for Traffic Management works
- Creating account applications for new customers
- Providing quotations for Traffic Management works
- Liaising with operational depots to discuss customer requirements
- Uploading quotes onto the ERP system and creating jobs on the portal
- Making any requested changes from customers
- Checking jobs have been completed
- Supporting the works permit process
- Any other appropriate duties as assigned by your line manager
What looks good for an Administrator/ Estimator:
- Experience in a dynamic administrative role that involves customer interaction and inter-departmental communication
- Proficient in the use of a PC, Microsoft Office suite of software and ability to work with other business management systems
- Confident communicator and excellent interpersonal skills - to be able to interface successfully with a wide range of people both within and outside the company
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Excellent geographical and numerical skills
- An ability to work within a high performing, fast-moving team
- Previous experience within the Traffic Management industry, Utilities or Construction industry (Desirable)
