Paralegal Associate

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for Paralegal Associates to join our FS Legal Services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. These roles can be based in any of our UK offices, with occasional travel to London or other locations for litigation or bundle preparation, typically not exceeding two weeks at a time.

Legal Services is a thriving business with 42 Partners and Directors and a team of 350. We offer project-based specialist legal advice and ongoing general counsel support. New paralegals will be fully integrated into the team, working closely with lawyers at all levels and handling an interesting and challenging workload.

What your days will look like:

• Assisting with client acceptance processes, dealing with risk and completing all relevant forms and searches.
• Drafting meeting minutes and standard transaction documents from templates, proofreading and checking drafts, assembling document bundles and transactions.
• Liaising with our other specialist legal teams in the UK and with our Network firms in other jurisdictions, attending to public filings, assisting with billing and timely cash collection.
• Supporting the lawyers in delivering a top quality service to our clients.

This role is for you if:

• You are keen to embrace diverse corporate paralegal tasks.
• You are highly computer literate; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• You are well-organized with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• You have law firm experience in Tax, Litigation, and/or M&A/restructuring is advantageous.
