Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Caerphilly. About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that promote a love of literature and language.
- Support students in developing critical thinking, reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help everyone achieve their goals.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including involvement in extracurricular activities and literacy initiatives.
About You:
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Is passionate about the English language and literature and can inspire that enthusiasm in students.
- Has a strong understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is a New Qualified Teacher (NQT) with relevant English Degree
- Is a positive and collaborative team member with excellent communication skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Approximately, 1200 students ages from 11-18
- Strong focus on academic success and personal development
- Committed to inclusion, ensuring that all students, including those with ALN, are fully supported
- A committed and experienced teaching staff dedicated to providing high-quality education and personalised support for students.
