Social Media Manager

We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and execution across our social platforms.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing our online communities, and executing paid and organic social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, leads and sales for our communities.This role requires a strong understanding of social media best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
The Role:
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the development and delivery of a social media strategy that aligns with our wider marketing and business goals
- Define clear KPIs, measure performance, and share actionable insights
- Stay ahead of the curve with platform updates, trends, and innovations
Content Creation & Management:
- Plan, create, and curate compelling content (copy, graphics, video) tailored to each platform
- Ensure our tone of voice and visuals are consistently on-brand across all channels
- Collaborate with marketing, internal comms, and village teams to bring the culture of our communities to life online
- Be the voice of the brand; engage with our audience, respond to comments/messages, and manage reviews
- Build a thriving, positive, and interactive online community
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns that drive awareness, traffic, and leads
- Manage budgets and report on ROI, continuously refining strategies based on performance
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and wider team to integrate social across campaigns
- Support local marketing efforts by aligning content with village-specific initiatives
- Use tools (like Hootsuite and HubSpot) to streamline and scale activity
The Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Solid experience managing social media for brands, with proven results in both paid and organic
- Platform know-how: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels
- Skilled in social media tools (Hootsuite or similar) and data analysis/reporting
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong project and time management abilities
Desired Skills:
- HubSpot experience
- Canva or basic design/video editing skills
- A background in lifestyle, wellness, or community-focused brands
