Gardener
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Gardener/Landscaper to work based at a Residential Development in Southwest London. If you have a love for nature, an eye for design, and take pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces, we want to hear from you!
As a Gardener/Landscaper, you will be responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces to a high standard, ensuring that all landscaping work enhances the aesthetic appeal and functionality of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planting, pruning, and nurturing trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns
- Lawn care including mowing, aerating, and edging
- Designing and installing new landscape features (e.g., flower beds, walkways, patios)
- Irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Weed control, pest management, and soil preparation
- Operating and maintaining garden tools and machinery
- Seasonal planting and maintaining existing landscape designs
- Ensuring gardens and outdoor spaces are kept clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing
- Collaborating with clients to meet their specific landscaping needs and vision
Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of plants, flowers, and garden maintenance techniques
- Ability to use gardening tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and a creative approach to garden design
- Previous experience in property maintenance or gardening roles
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems (preferred but not essential)
